I don't know what the huge deal about supermodels is. I don't really find them much prettier than people that I see every day. Most of them are fake beyond belief. They cake on makeup, and they starve themselves. I don't understand why some people find that so glamorous. I personally think its kinda sick. Then we have all these little girls who see the supermodels and think "This is how I should look." and so they begin to try to look like the supermodels. Why? Why can't they just be themselves. If a girl's stomach isn't completely flat, that isn't such a big deal. If her face has a blemish on it, that's fine. I know that a lot of guys look just for beauty in a girl, and I don't really understand why. I mean yes I want a pretty girl too, but I'd also like her to be smart, and kind. For the ladies: Looks are important when you want a guy to notice you, but we guys find girls putting on makeup all the time and messing with their hair annoying. There have been girls that I know who would go to the beach and then refuse to go into the water because they wanted their hair to stay beautiful. So ladies, look nice, but don't overdo it. There is another pet peeve that I have. Wherever I go there seem to be little girls dressed like hoochies. Why? I mean little, little girls like even 10 years old. First of all I don't really like the hoochie look in the first place, but on little girls its even worse. Supermodels have helped spread a damaging myth, the myth that beauty brings happiness. It isn't true, nor is it the most important thing. Beauty is extremely superficial. It is more important to be a nice person, and to realize who you yourself are and to not follow other people just because everyone else is doing it. |
